About Department

The Department of Physics, Swami Shraddhanand College, was established in 1980. The Course that was introduced was B.Sc. (General) Physical Sciences. The B. Sc. (Honors) course came in 1997. Every year about 40 students take admission in B.Sc. (Hons) Physics and more than 90 students in B. Sc. Physical Sciences. Today, it boasts of more than ten highly qualified faculty members, with an equal number of highly trained technical staff. There are four well equipped, spacious laboratories, so that all students get enough space for practical work. The students who pass out from here get admissions in highly reputed institutions and are making a name for themselves the world over.
