Placement cell organized various workshop seminars, scholarships awareness programs and recruitment drives in our college during the academic year 2019-20. The details are given below:

1. Placement cell, Swami Shraddhanand College in collaboration with Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) organized a seminar on Education and Scholarship opportunities in Taiwan. The presentations were made by Mr. Peters L.Y Chen, Director, Education Division, TECC and Ms. Smita Alumni,Taiwan Scholarship Recipient and (NSYSU) on 27th September, 2019.
2. Seminar and awareness drive organized by ABC for web designing, fashion designing, data handling etc. on 7th November, 2019.
3. Placement Drive was conducted by JIO campus drive held on 17th, January 2020 in which 733 Students got themselves registered.144 cleared the test and 53 were selected for recruitment.
4. Workshop on "Career prospects in GIS for Graduation Students organized by "SwastikEdustart Geospatial Training Institute", Vikaspuri, New Delhi held on 3rd February, 2020.

The Placement Cell of our college has been active throughout the academic session 2014-2015. This cell has initiated the process of placing the students passing out from college this year.

Placement cell has started its activities by organizing various workshops and seminars where knowledge regarding resume writing, handling interviews, group discussions, and written tests are imparted to the students. It serves as an interface between students and corporate. Members of the Committee are Mr. Manish Kumar (convener), DrParkashVirkhatri, Dr. SimranKaur, Ms. Nidhi Phatela and Ms. Madhu Monga.

 On 19^th February 2015 a Seminar was organised on vital important topic “How to Make Effective CV” 60 students of B.A and B.com (6^thsem) attended the seminar at old building campus.

On 26th of February, 2015 first time in the college Campus a placement drive was organized the interview process for the placements of final year’s students. The Interview was conducted by “Career Marshall Consultants” where 62 students participated. Out of 62 candidates, 19 students have been offered job in the different companies.

Students of our college from various disciplines participated in the interview conducted by Centre Placement Cell, Delhi University on 26/03/2015, 27/03/2015 and 30/03/2015 for Tata Energy, Wipro Technologies and Teaching Sity.

Mr. Manish Kumar also participated in a interaction programme with HR team of Wipro along with Placements conveners of colleges of Delhi university on 21/3/2015 at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi for campus Placement and careers opportunity of our final year students.

As members of the committee it gives us lots of satisfaction and joy to see our students becoming self-independent and getting good careers opportunity.
